Mrs. Yung | 容太
Base in Toronto, Canada. Mrs. Yung’s passion for cooking sprouts from the love for her daughters and now her grand children. She started her culinary journey in Hong Kong before moving to Toronto. Realizing that the best food to share with her family are homemade with love.
She developed her skills in culinary from her restaurant back in Hong Kong, as well as through cooking classes and books. She has been sharing quick and easy Cantonese home recipes in Toronto for 25 years with the local Chinese community. In the past, her dishes were featured through TV shows and radio, until recently her recipes were shared through a local news paper, Sing Tao Toronto weekly food magazine. Due to the pandemic, Mrs. Yung mainly shares her recipe on YouTube and website.
We are excited to expand into other platforms so that Mrs. Yung’s recipes can be shared with a wider audience who also loves home cooking.

About Us:
During weekends, we have a little family fun (mom, dad and I) creating cooking videos and lightly skim through social media. Mainly to keep the seniors active and recreate Mrs. Yung's past printed recipes for the family, grand kids and friends.
Mom gets really excited to find friends that have been following her since her radio days. Your comments about the recipes that you tried and love really brightens up her day. We also met new wonderful people like yourself who also enjoys family recipes!

Mom, Dad (Mrs. / Mr. Yung) and myself! English is my main language and tries my best in translating to Chinese trough translators. Thank you for your understanding if the characters are off.
Mrs. Yung is not fluent with technology. She does read your comments and gets ecstatic about them. During my weekends or after work, I help her relay her replies. -
Hi there! :) It seems our privacy policy section is quite popular to our neighbours.
If you are using this page as a reference, please do! I was confused myself just a few weeks ago and referenced other sites to get an understanding if I needed a privacy policy. Being a small family having some fun with contents, we can’t afford reputable lawyers. Thus we generated a generic one through https://www.privacypolicies.com. Here is another option which I later found that charges less https://getterms.io/news-blog-privacy-policy.
If you’re wondering if you need one. Here’s a link to an informative lady where I learned that websites in general does need a privacy policy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITibDzvHMWE&t=315s
This website provider / builder does provide traffic information to help me determine popular topics being searched. Information used are mainly in this style “Maaaahmi! Your frens from Hong Kong seems to search for soup a lot, wanna do more soup recipes?”.
